Blueberry Gimlet

Ingredients   

2 oz gin

1 oz blueberry infused simple syrup

1 oz fresh lemon or lime juice

egg white

Instructions:

  1. Make simple syrup: 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup sugar, 8 to 10 fresh, smashed blueberries. Bring to a boil, set aside to cool and strain.

  2. Put all ingredients into a shaker and dry shake (no ice) for at least 20 seconds.

  3. Add ice and shake for 5 or 6 seconds.

  4. Strain into glass.
