Mint Julip

Ingredients   

8 mint leaves

1 oz simple syrup

2 oz bourbon

Optional: bitters

Instructions:

  1. Muddle mint in simple syrup.

  2. Add bourbon and large ice cubes - shake.

  3. Strain into cold glass with crushed ice; top with bitters and fresh mint.
