Spritz Cookies

Grandma Hannah

Ingredients:

1 cup of butter

1 cup of sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoon almond flavoring

2 1/2 cups sifted flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 tsp baking powder

Optional: food coloring and sprinkles

You will need a spritz gun or a piping bag with a large tip.

Instructions:

1. Beat butter, sugar, eggs and almond extract until light and smooth.

2. Sift dry ingredients together and add a little at at time until fully incorporated.

3. Add coloring if desired.

4. Load dough into spritz gun or piping bag and pipe cookies.

5. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
