Roz's Buns

Ingredients: 6 doz

½ cup sugar

1 cup shortening

2 T salt

1 cup powdered milk

7 cups warm water

2 cups whole wheat flour

2 pkg quick rise yeast

12 cups of white flour

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve 2 pkg yeast in 1 cup warm water

  2. Blend ingredients together and begin adding the 12 cups of flour.

  3. Switch to kneading four in by hand when it is too difficult with the spoon

  4. Cover and let rise to double; punch down and shape

  5. Let rise again and bake at 375 for about 20 minutes
