Peach Upside Down Cake

Ingredients:

2 tbl butter

2 tsp cinnamon

1 3/4 cups flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup shortening

2 eggs

1/2 cup sugar

16 oz can of peaches

2/4 cup sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup juice from peaches

Instructions:

  1. Pour melted butter in a 9 inch cake pan. Stir in sugar and cinnamon.

  2. Arrange peaches on top.

  3. Sift dry ingredients and set aside

  4. Cream shortening and add eggs and juice, beat 2 minutes.

  5. Put on top of peaches and bake 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

  6. Turn upside down.
