Mushroom Rice


1 onion

1 -2 cloves of garlic

1# of mixed mushrooms

olive oil


1 cup rice

1/4 cup white wine

1 1/2 cup chicken broth

salt and pepper



  1. Cook down onion, garlic and mushrooms in olive oil and butter. 

  2. Add rice, wine and broth

  3. Season to taste

  4. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until liquid is absorbed.

  5. Serve as is or add shrimp
