Fudge

Grandma Hannah

Ingredients:

12 oz evaporated milk (1 2/3 cup)

3 1/2 cups sugar

2, 12 oz pkg semi-sweet choc morsels

1/2 cup butter

7 oz jar marshmallow crème

1 tbl vanilla

1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

Optional: cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. Bring milk and sugar to full boil in a 3 quart sauce pan, stirring constantly.

  2. Continue to boil vigorously 9 minutes. 

  3. Remove from heat and add choc morsels. Stir until smooth.

  4. Add butter, marshmallow crème, vanilla and nuts.

  5. Pour into 8 inch pan wait until cooled and set to cut. Sift cocoa powder over the top.
