Sangria Fruit Salad

Ingredients:

4 to 5 types of fruit

mint

rose wine

fresh orange juice

sugar

Instructions:

  1. Wash fruit and put into a glass pitcher. I choose  blackberries, blueberries, black grapes and grapefruit. If using grapefruit or oranges you will need to supreme them. 

  2. Soak fruit in wine and orange juice overnight. I used 1/2 cup of orange juice to one bottle of wine.

  3. Drain the wine from the fruit reserving the wine.

  4. Lightly sprinkle fruit with sugar and let sit for several hours.

  5. Toss fruit with mint leaves right before serving.

  6. Add mint and champagne to reserved wine for a nice summery cocktail. (see recipe here)
