Shepherd's Pie

Ideas:

This beef/veggie mixture is also great on pasta, baked potato, toast...

Mix it with rice, fresh herbs, and stuff into a bell pepper.

Ingredients:

red potatoes

butter

ground beef

cream mushroom soup

carrots, cooked diced

peas

corn

onion, diced

salt, pepper, cayenne

Instructions:

  1. Start browning ground beef. When mostly cooked, create an open space in the middle, add a pat of butter and onions. Cook until translucent and then mix in with beef.

  2. Peel potatoes, cut into cubes and boil until tender.

  3. To beef and onion, add cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper and cayenne. Simmer a few minutes.

  4. Add carrots, peas and corn. Warm through and taste for seasoning.

  5. Mix potatoes with butter and salt & pepper.

  6. Put a generous amount of potatoes in a bowl, leaving the middle for beef/veg mixture.

  7. Add meat mixture and serve.
