Roasted Strawberries

Ingredients:

fresh strawberries

balsamic vinegar

honey

pinch of salt

spreadable cheese (like goat cheese or cream cheese with herbs)

mint or basil

baguette or crackers

Instructions:

  1. Set out cheese and bring to room temp.

  2. Clean, dry and cut up strawberries.

  3. Place strawberries on a sheet pan with parchment paper. 

  4. Toss strawberries with a drizzle of balsamic and honey and a pinch of salt.

  5. Roast strawberries for 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees and then set aside to cool.

  6. Slice and toast baguette.

  7. Spread cheese on a plate, top with strawberries and mint or basil; serve with baguettes or crackers.
