Coconut Balls x2

COCONUT DATE BALLS

4 tbl butter

2 eggs

3/4 cup sugar

1 1/2 cup chopped dates

2 cups rice krispies

1/2 cup nuts chopped

1 tsp vanilla

Instructions:

  1. Mix butter, eggs, sugar and dates in a sauce pan and boil till thick (about 8 minutes)

  2. Remove from heat and stir in rice krispies, nuts and vanilla

  3. Cool a little, form into balls and roll in coconut

COCONUT COCOA BALLS

2 cups white sugar

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup butter

5 tbl cocoa

3 cups oatmeal

coconut 

Instructions:

  1. Combine sugar, milk, cocoa and butter and bring to boil and simmer for one minute.

  2. Remove from heat and mix in oatmeal. Form into balls and roll in coconut
