Chocolate Covered Fruit

Ingredients:

3 cups semisweet chocolate or white chocolate, chopped

1 cup heavy cream

20 strawberries, washed and dried well

Instructions:

  1. Place chocolate in a mixing bowl and set aside

  2. Warm cream in a saucepan until scalded (just before boiling).

  3. Pour warm cream over chocolate and let sit for one minute. 

  4. Whisk mixture until creamy smooth.

  5. Dip strawberry into the chocolate, lift and let excess chocolate fall back into the bowl. Set strawberries on the parchment paper.

  6. Repeat with the rest of the strawberries and let set about 20 minutes

Options:

  1. Melt smaller amount of the 'other' chocolate (white on dark or vise versa) Dip a fork in chocolate and drizzle over the dipped strawberries.

  2. Right after strawberries are dipped, roll in crushed nuts
